ENOC Lubricants, a division of ENOC International Sales LLC, signed a lubricant supply agreement with Galana Oil Kenya Ltd (Galana Oil regional oil marketing company) to distribute its range of products in Kenya, including its environmentally-friendly products - the fully synthetic engine oils, Protec Green 5W40 and Protec X-treme Energy 5W30.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive, said: "Our expansion to Kenya through the supply agreement is part of our long term strategy to expand and distribute our products in the African region and beyond. The agreement is a major milestone for ENOC as Kenya is one of the biggest markets for lubricants and offers strong growth opportunities. Building on our success and expertise in the UAE and the greater MENA region, we are confident that we will continue with the same success in the Kenyan market. Galana Oil has extensive industry experience and is ideally placed to assist us in our long-term goals."

He added: "ENOC will continue to explore potential growth opportunities through strategic geographic expansion plans in line with our development goals." With a population of 37 million, a lubricants market worth around over 40 million liters a year and the exit of most multinational companies from the country's oil Industry, Kenya offers vast opportunities for growth especially to local oil companies and represents over 60 percent of the East African market.

Galana Oil Company will stock and distribute the full range of ENOC Lubricants from synthetic engine oils, automotive lubricants and greases to industrial lubricants such as hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils and other specialized products. ENOC Lubricants are promoted at various premium outlets and locations across the country and 13 Delta Service Stations owned by Galana Oil Kenya Ltd.

George Kahira, Managing Director of Galana Oil, said the company is keen to pursue business growth through product diversification which offers new revenue streams. He said, "The landmark agreement with ENOC Lubricants provides us with a strong opportunity to further expand our business and offer our customers a wholesome experience at our retail sites and other outlets by adding a premium class lubricants brand, ENOC, to our product offering. Our partnership with ENOC Lubricants highlights our commitment to partner with the industry-best and leverage the best resources and premium products."

To support the lubricants business, a dedicated Lubricants Business Unit had been established within Galana Oil. The company has also partnered with courier companies for overnight deliveries in all major towns in Kenya. ENOC Lubricants has a proven track for quality and excellence, with its premium range of high quality products marketed across over 50 countries in the Middle East and South East Asia, subcontinent, Africa, and Central Asia.
